The Fortress Mazzi Sport Watch comes complete with a chronograph that displays the time and performs stopwatch functions with analog hands, so you'll know exactly how long it takes you to reach the summit. The Mazzi Watch rests comfortably on your wrist, reminding you that time, like your goals, won't wait. Slam the scratch- and break-resistant Mazzi against a rock, it'll fair better than you. The burly Mazzi Watch is water-resistant to 100m for the occasional kayaking foray, but the durable Nubuck leather band is more appropriate for land use.

Bottom Line: No adventure is complete without the Fortress Mazzi Sport Watch on your wrist.

Nino, this turned into a personal mission for me trying to find this manufacturer. I am not positive but I think this is the "official" website.

manual date & chronograph adjusting...

By:
March 2, 2007

I got one of these. The looks are good, and it seems sturdy. However, you'll have to adjust the monthly calendar all the time because it always automatically runs 31 days. That would seem to defeat 75% of the purpose of having a date function in the first place, if you have to adjust it yourself at the end of a month. Additionally, scrolling through 3 days like in Febr. seems like a hassle. Another problem a watch that was marketed at $140 really shouldn't have is that the center chronograph hand gets misaligned real easily; instead of stopping at 0 it stops like at +3 secs, or +7 secs or some other place from 90 degrees. They warn about it in the manual, and you can fix it again, but for a $140 watch there should be such issues.

I own a white fortress mazzi watch and i have to replace the original unbuckling mesh and polyurethane band that came with it. Can it be purchased separately and how much and where can I get it?

You may not be able to find an exact replacement without going directly to the manufacturer. I suggest checking out your local watch store to find something similar, or maybe even a band you like better. I have had great success replacing my bands at such stores.
