Every ski company makes a quiver-killer, and the Johnny C Ski is Folsom's. With just enough girth for flotation, a nimble design for navigating tight terrain, and a stability-focused core design, this is one for the trees, chutes, or back bowls. Folsom's shapers even tossed in a little early rise at the tip to make it easier to surf stashes and pop pillows during a super-deep storm cycle.

  • Early rise allows you to easily float and surf the tip through the deepest snow
  • Traditional camber gives you precise turn control underfoot
  • Poplar wood core gives this ski a damp but powerful personality
  • Sandwich construction offers durability and a consistent flex from tip to tail
  • 107mm waist (180 & 190cm lengths) creates a wide, stable platform for high-speed straight lines, surviving bombed-out landings, plowing through day-after chop, and staying on top of deep stashes
  • Durasurf base is lightning fast and tough enough to take some hits without going straight to the core

The "DO IT ALL" skis for your quiver.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If there was one pair of skis to take with me having no knowledge of what ski conditions may be I choose the Johnny C s. Good side cut for carving and wide enough for powder. These handle nearly every condition save the east coast boiler plate. Took these on a 7 day tour of Colorado and they worked on nearly everything with exceptional ease.
