Description

An animal in all the best ways.

After some serious brainstorming, Folsom ski designers trickled down some design features from its custom packages to make the Completo Ski the most well-rounded all-mountain beast in its class. This mid-fat ski (105mm underfoot in a 186) can be ridden hard on deep days, stuffed into tight technical chutes, and blasted across corduroy without batting an eyelash, making it the only board you'll need this winter. The Completo packs tip and tail rocker for float in the deep and maneuverability in tight spots, tip and tail taper to keep you from hanging up in choppy conditions, and good old traditional camber underfoot to supply all the edge grip you'll need to blast down groomers and rally through chop.

To keep the Completo tough, quick, and nimble, Folsom built it on a poplar and bamboo core, which provides a serious combination of stiffness, energy, and lightness. Add a carbon-fiber laminate to the mix and you have a ski that can charge as easily as cruise, with a tough-but-lightweight sandwich construction and UHMW sidewalls that direct plenty of power down into the edges. Finish it off with a speedy Durasurf sintered base, and you've got a board that'll hammer whatever you point it at and then beg for more.

Playful & Powerful

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I LOVE the Completo! This ski is extremely versatile - I have skied fresh groomers and powder and this ski is fun in every condition. You can charge when you want and sit back when you are feeling lazy. The Completo is stable at high speeds and quick when you need it to be. I ordered this ski directly from the Folsom factory as the backcountry dimensions are to large for my frame and ability. Bonus in that I got to design my graphic! I highly recommend this ski and any other Folsom build.

The name says it all...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used these skis in all types of conditions and they kill it. From icy conditions in the Northeast to waist high powder in Patagonia, these skis really are a complete package. They handle wonderfully in both extremes, while making it all look and feel so easy. I'd consider myself an aggressive skier and they hold to a T. On the other end spectrum, they allow me to take it a bit easier and act a bit more playful at the end of the day when I'm beat up and want to take it a bit easier. I'd highly recommend these skis.

Hot Dawg Heaven!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Regardless of conditions, terrain, or skill level, this ski serves up endless fun with a sanguine side of self-confidence boost. Enough stability to handle just about anything you can throw at it (in bounds, anyway), yet forgiving enough to keep riders of all ability levels from eating wood. If you're looking for a versatile, easy riding everyday set up, look no further friends.
