Description

Like greasy bacon, it's good on everything.

Folsom trickled down the shapes and technology from its big-mountain slayers in order to make the Completo Ski the most well-rounded all-mountain animal in its class. This mid-fat ski can be ridden hard on deep days, stuffed into tight technical chutes, and blasted across corduroy. It packs rocker for float, tip and tail taper to keep you from hanging up in choppy conditions, and an agile chassis to keep you quick on your toes. Greenhorns or vets can rely on this ski for any type of terrain, the tram or the chair, and for deep days or droughts that demand all-day laps on the hardpack.

  • Rockered tip and tail were designed to help inches of snow feel like feet of snow, and to make feet of powder feel absolutely bottomless
  • Rockered tip makes turn initiation easier than ever and rockered tail allows you to quickly bail from the end of a turn and slide to dump speed
  • Early tapered tip and tail sidecut was designed to allow powder and thick, choppy snow to slide past the ski easily so it's harder to catch a tip or hang up your tail
  • Low camber gives you precise turn control directly underfoot, similar to, but not as aggressive as, traditional camber
  • Poplar core gives the ski a snappy, playful feel that's also stable at high speeds and under heavy forces
  • Sandwich construction creates a balanced ski platform that's highly durable, powerful enough for big-mountain lines, and predictable in terms of flex
  • 100 or 105mm waist (depending on length) places premium edge-to-edge agility without sacrificing the small amount of flotation provided by this mid-fat width
  • Durasurf base is thick and lightning fast so you'll always know that you can get enough speed

I bought some Folsom Gambits a while back, and while they are awesome, they are beasts that crave fresh pow. After the lack of snow last season, I realized that I needed a more realistic ski. Then Folsom came out with the Completo. I demoed them and fell in love and ordered my own. The Completo does everything and does it all well. They carve the groomers and they float the soft stuff They are super playful and still stiff enough to charge through rough stuff. These skis are the perfect width to go everywhere and do everything without killing my knees if the conditions aren't awesome. If I could only have one ski, I'd take the Completo.
