These are the bibs I've been looking for

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I've been on the hunt for some bibs to wear on cold days at the resort. I wanted bibs that were waterproof, well made, had a little stretch, and had useable pockets. They also had to fit well. The Smoke Jumpers meet all of my needs at a wonderful price point. Flylow already sold out of them for the season, and I can understand why. I bought the Baker bibs before I found these, and while the Bakers use a more waterproof and durable fabric, it comes at the cost of stiffness and noise. I'd rather ski in these Smokejumpers and just patch any holes that I tear in them. I think the $100 price difference should cover the cost of those patches and a couple of six packs, but time will tell.

Also, it's not mentioned anywhere in the description, but ALL of the pockets have YKK zippers. Even the ones with velcro flaps! Really impressive bibs for the price.

Just got these in the mail last week and they look awesome. The material feels great and seems like they'll be strong and will last. They are pretty comfortable to wear as well. Im 6'4" 190lbs and I got the Large and they fit great. Lots of awesome pockets for storage. Also fairly lightweight considering they are bibs. GREAT BUY!

AMAZING!

If you want a pair of bibs that shred harder than you can...Buy these pants!
If you want to look insanely good for the ladies while shredding hard? Buy these pants!
Enough said? I think so...
If not? Read below.
The Smokejumper bib are an amazing, high quality, meat hucking pair of ski paints. They are heavy duty, yet light weight, and can/will handle everything you throw at them, and then some. The pockets are big enough to carry all of your belongings, or a 12 pack if you get creative. If you're hiking and get hot, just unzip the massive leg vents to cool things down. The Smokejumpers look good, feel good, and ski great. Plus, you cant beat that price point.

Working Mans Waterproof Bibs

Imagine that, a pair of fully waterproof bibs for under $300... Our goal was to make some bibs the flylow way: tough as nails, high performance, good looking and without breaking the bank. The new smokejumpers are made with a 320D Nylon 2 layer fabric, which means they are built with a moisture wicking mesh lining. In the end you get a stormproof bib that cam do most things on snow. They may be a bit heavy for touring, but for ripping the resort and boots packs under 45 min these things are perfect.
