Leather quality varies

Love the mitts, but the leather quality varies so much. It is thick in some places and paper thin in others. I'm going to try and buy in person to make sure I don't get another dud.

Good gloves so far

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I?ve used these gloves twice so far this snowboarding season. The first time temps ranged from 35-50F. My hands stayed warm. The second time temps ranged from 9-16F. My hands were not very warm the second time, but they also weren?t very cold. If I would have thrown a handwarmer in there or had a thin glove liner then they would have been perfect for the temperature that day. Keep in mind that second time was windy and snow makers were running, so a calmer day with similar temps you might be good with just the mitten. I haven?t had any issue with them getting moisture inside. I also like the cuff on the glove, but I?m wondering how long it will stay tight. Overall good glove. I?ll be interested in seeing how they hold up for the season and whether or not they eventually allow moisture through.

Best Tow Gloves Ever

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
XS/S

After my kids wrecked two sets of leather Crab Grab gloves on the terrain park tow ( fell apart in a matter of days) we tried these. These are the first leather gloves that have held up to continual use on the tow, thankfully. We ski 3-5 days a week with the kids mainly on the tow. Now have 2 pairs each so they can dry out between ski trips. Awesome product!!!

so far...so warm

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These seem a little lighter than I anticipated, and I had some chilled thumbs after making some pow turns...but quickly re-warmed on the lift by clenching all fingers in the toasty main compartment. The wrists seemed a bit tight initially, but after wearing over my sleeves with the thumb holes...I didn't notice them anymore. I will continue to test throughout the season - has been a nice change from the usual Kincos I wear, while not spending too much more than those.

Good Overall, Black Color Rubbed Off

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I like these gloves. They're warm, I like that they're pretty simple, easy to slip on and off. Kept my hands warm and dry for the days I skied with them. I haven't really put the waterproofness or the warmth to the test, I didn't have any particularly cold or wet days with these. For typical winter resort days in the rockies, these were great. The biggest downside I would warn people about is that the black color rubbed off on my jacket. My red jacket now looks dirty around the cuffs and along zippers I grab with the gloves on. I'm not super upset about it, stuff gets dirty, but it is a bit of a bummer for a new jacket to get dirty so quickly because the coloring of the gloves. I wouldn't recommend buying the black color unless you have a dark jacket, the black will rub off on your clothes.
