Peel off that shell and hit the town.
With a look that would make your leather-boot-wearing, wood-ski grandpa proud, the Flylow Men's Hemlock Fleece Jacket uses vintage style and modern construction to make it great as a mid-layer and on its own around town. Synthetic Yetiwool fabric has a wool-like feel with the benefits of a quick-drying polyester construction. The two-inch collar is low enough that it doesn't rise above your shell, and the chest snaps let you lock in heat, or ditch it when it gets too toasty.

The Mayo of Mid Layers
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
This is one piece of clothing that certainly does not excite. Works as an adequate mid-layer, but not my first choice. The material is fairly warm, although not nearly as warm as a true fleece for less weight.
The fit seems to be true to size, but I would prefer a bit more stretch in the arms. I always feel as though I need to pull the sleeves down, or that they are tight around the forearms.
Nice zippered chest pocket which can easily accommodate a smart phone, and a nice stand up collar - that could be a bit more snug to help keep out the cold.
Like all FlyLow gear, this should last for several seasons to come.
FlyLow... oh so stylish.
