    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large

Every time I ha€™ve worn these shorts I'€™ve begun to like them a little more. The first time I put them on I wasn'€™t sure how I felt about them. I think I was lost somewhere between active shorts or more casual shorts. The reason I was confused is they easily can be worn in either way. I pair these shorts with the Dalton Chambray shirt and I feel like I'm up for whatever. From cruising town in flip flops to hiking trails, these shorts are ready for everything.

I really like the narrow base of the shorts. When I first tried them on I thought it would be fairly restrictive but I quickly found out the cord fabric is not only durable but has a good amount of stretch. My girlfriend is constantly moving me away from anything baggy and she really likes the fit and overall design of these shorts. I would mention that if I could have a do over I would purchase a size smaller than I usually purchase.

I'€™m finding that more and more often I'm beginning to embrace a wider variety of colors for my clothing. The storm version of these shorts is something I really like. The darker and unique color really stands out to me. The design is especially nice to wear casually with a t-shirt or a bit nicer with a button up.

I think the little details are what put me over the top and made these shorts one of my favorites. They offer 5 pockets, the standard four with an additional front change pocket. This design really fits me mostly for aesthetic reasons. I also really enjoy the vintage brass rivets that bring everything together and really finish off these shorts and give them a more refined detail finish.

I have been wearing these around camp most often. I'€™ve spent a few days on long road trips in them and I'€™m really impressed with not only the versatility but comfort.

    Sweet Shorts, just size down

    • Size Bought: 34

Got these shorts a couple months ago and they have definitely become a part of the regular rotation. The cut is great, a little slim and a little short, but not too much of either. The material is super stretchy and comfy, and it's a very small corduroy so it doesn't look weird.

My only complaint is that they fit a little big, and more importantly after a few uses they fit very big. If you are on the fence about size, definitely size down. I'm a pretty consistent 34 waist, and after stretching I need a belt to keep these guys up. If 33 was an option I would go for those, but don't think I'll go all the way down to a 32 I'm just going to rock the belt.
