As the stiffest binding in Flux's line, the DM sports an Ultima baseplate that's made from 45% carbon fiber and 55% fiberglass (super carbon blend), meaning it's highly responsive when you need to negotiate high-consequence terrain.

You'll find the binding's hard-density stabilizers prevent the binding from rolling for better energy transfer when you need it most. As if that's not enough, the binding's Hybrid footbed offers natural canting to align your knees and hips in a more anatomically correct stance. Softer EVA instep foam naturally compresses, while the harder edge sensors keep the outside of your foot firmly planted for enhanced comfort and more edge control.

Designed exclusively for hard-chargers, the Ultima Freeride highback is ultra-stiff for high levels of response when you're blasting down the mountain at scary-fast speeds. It's crafted of a super tough nylon plus material for stiffness and durability against crashes and hard landings. Additionally, Flux offers tool-less forward lean at the bottom of the highback for quick and easy adjustments when you're riding varying terrain, such as half pipe runs or tight, tree-lined chutes.

Dialing-in a secure, comfortable fit, the binding's Honeycomb ankle strap uses a freeride-specific shape for a locked-in feel with tons of response. A FTM Versa toe strap accommodates over-the-tip or over-the-top wear, for those who prefer a more traditional feel when freeriding. Another cool innovation comes in the way of a urethane mounting disc. This four-hole disc (Channel available through Flux) flexes underfoot to reduce the dead spot caused by stiff mounting discs.
