If crushing big mountain lines, sending backcountry booters, or ripping icy halfpipes is your thing, then you want to Flux SF Snowboard Binding on your side. This seriously stiff and lightweight binding is perfect for freeride fiends and airtime-seeking stuntmen who ride fast and go huge.

It starts with the lightweight, yet incredibly tough Ultima binding, which is focused on response so you can make split-second moves in technical terrain. Urethane stabilizers prevent heel roll to further increase response. Next up is the super-stiff Ultima Freeride highback, which provides the support needed to handle massive park jumps and backcountry cliffs.

Hybrid cushioning with softer EVA on the inside and stiffer EVA on the outside offers excellent cushioning without compromising response. Toolless forward lean adjustment lets you crank up the forward lean when you want to bomb down steeps or hit the halfpipe. New Honeycomb ankle straps wrap around your boot for a comfy and secure fit with minimal material, and new Micro Ratchets are smaller for reduced dead zones. When you're ready to hit new high speeds and reach new heights, the SF will be waiting.

Stiff is an Understatement

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bindings are very well designed, in that I can't believe how light weight they are, they're tough, the mounting discs don't inhibit movement between the topsheet of the snowboard, and the tool-less bolts and screws are fantastic. The toe and ankle straps are full of holes to reduce weight and shaped to where they won't hurt the tops of the rider's feet.

These bindings handle super well as they are crazy stiff in the high back. If you're in to bombing runs and avoid the park, then this may well be the go-to binding for your rig. I'm impressed. I'll be riding these for as long as they'll last.
