Description

Keep well-rounded riding alive with the SF45.

The Flux SF45 Snowboard Binding coordinates two properties of bindings that never seem to get along; response and flexibility. Often bindings that promise flexibility feel mushy once outside of the park. And for the freeride-specific bindings claiming response, you feel like you can't have fun at slower speeds or anything but laying back in powder or bombing groomers. The SF45 keeps the spirit of well-rounded riding alive with its reactive-yet-playful Super Blend 45 baseplate, a near half-and-half mixture of fiberglass and nylon laid up into a high-walled tray that keeps your foot in place for pressing and cutting up the steeps in the same day.

  • All-new Ultima FR highback brings a snug fit, ergonomic shaping, and a flush-mounted design that rides without any gaps around the heelcup
  • Alpha baseplate is milled out for a lighter weight and features a high sidewall for foot retention and power for turn initiation
  • Hybrid footbed uses an anatomically shaped full-length design with dual-density EVA material that's mapped out for comfort, rebound, and support in areas where you need it most
  • Absolute Fit toe strap conforms over toes for a pressure-free fit and uses Alpha ratchets for solid grip with a glove-friendly design
  • Absolute Fit FR ankle strap is curved for comfort and response and is cored out for weight reduction and reinforced for strength

Great binders!! Matched them with a Capita Black Snowboard of Death for a week in Breckenridge. The combo was very light, and the binders were stiff as promised for hard charging all mountain riding. A comfortable ankle strap is complimented by a toe strap that actually stays where you put it. On hill adjustments were a snap. And a good buckle\ratchet design got me hooked in and out quick and easy.

All in all, the FLUX SF45 is a great 2 strap binding that that has both the stiffness and comfort I was looking for. Well done.

Hi,
I have size 10 DC Judge boots, would I want to get a size M or L since they seem to have a fairly reduced footprint?
Also do you think this binding or the union atlas would be a better match on my capita BSOD?
Thanks!
