Five Snowboard Binding

A lot of board and binding names are kind of random, but Flow’s The Five Snowboard Binding makes total sense since that’s about how many seconds it takes you to strap in the binding once you slide off the lift. Flow’s easy-entry reclining highback that allows you to quickly step in without a fuss; the single I-Flex strap also cuts down time you need to dial in your fit. Only problem is, you’re still not dropping in any faster since you’re hanging around waiting for your mates to strap in.

  • Single I-Flex PowerStrap distributes pressure over a wider area of your foot for more board feel and power with less cramping and discomfort
  • Four locking Airframe MINIrachets let you fine-tune the fit of the PowerStrap
  • Power Triangle directly links highback to center of baseplate, cutting weight while increasing responsiveness
  • Synchronous Length Adjustment (SLA) provides easy adjustment of the baseplate length for ideal boot compatibility
  • Free+ allows tool-less forward-lean adjustment without having to step out of the binding

Bottom Line: Leave 'em behind a few times and maybe they'll reconsider their binding choice.

They sure will. The Arbor boards use the 4-hole pattern, which these bindings have. These bindings also have the 3-hole pattern. The only boards they won't work with are boards with Burton's channel 2-hole pattern. A special disk would be required for those boards.

Great Bindings

I have been boarding for about 12 years now, and I go to Colorado about once or twice a year for a week and to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I had regular Burton Cartels for a while, but they broke so I was looking for a new pair. I am an experienced snowboarder, and out of curiosity picked up a pair of Flow Flite 3's. They were ok, but kinda sucked. They weren't very sensitive, nor were they aesthetically pleasing. I finally decided to look at the better, newer models of Flow. I picked up a pair of the Fives, and no kidding, they were fantastic. They take a little bit to get tuned to your foot, but I mark where they feel comfortable on the strap with a perm. marker so you can still fit it into a bag. I took 'em to Colorado and they were awesome in backcountry, park, trees, and the groomed cruiser runs. I ride pretty fast, and they still have great response. In the park they are decent, but I do mostly backcountry stuff, bowls, and trees. If you're looking for a great binding for the price that is efficient and amazing, look into these. I ride a Never Summer Revolver-R and they work great with it. I would recommend these for any riding style and experience.

Yes this binding will work with any boot. It is like any normal snowboard binding, but the back flips down so that you can slide your boot in. As for if it will work with a K2 clicker boot, I would think that it will, but it would work best with a normal boot. Hope that helps!
