Simple, classic style.
Tackle everyday scenarios with the trusty Fjallraven No.3 Foldsack at your shoulder. Its G-1000 HeavyDuty fabric is incredibly strong and will keep this bag intact through many years of work days, fun days, and week-long vacations. The main compartment has enough room for maps, A4-sized documents, a touch pad, your wallet, and more. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and the textile handles help you secure your purse in overhead compartments on flights. Fjallraven also added a buckled closure for stylish security, and a zippered pocket at the exterior for your passport.

The size of this bag absolutely suits my needs; it's not too big and not too small. I hate carrying large bags because they turn into a dumping ground for every small item I own, and this adequately holds a wallet, cell phone, and a small book with some room to spare. An internal pocket would help with dividing the one inner chamber so that not everything is mixed together but the bag is small enough that it's easy to locate whatever is floating around in there. I like the zippered exterior pocket as it is concealed under the flap, which also has a nice clasping mechanism. This zippered pocket is also deep enough to hold both a wallet and smartphone with no problems. I chose the dark garnet to obscure dirt and wear, and while it looks like more of a burgundy in the photo it does have some more....fuschia tones to it, but it's not pink by any means. If it was too pink (my least favorite color) I would have returned it.
As for the construction: this bag is badass and one of the first things I noticed when pulling it out of the box. The material is really durable and I imagine I will be using this bag for many, many years to come. My friend in Iceland noticed my bag and commented on how he bought his sister a similar one for her 16th birthday.....18 years ago, and it is still in great condition. Also, as with most Fjallraven products, you can wax it to increase its resilience to water. My (currently unwaxed) bag was exposed to some wet Icelandic weather and was pretty damp at one point and I was concerned about its contents, but everything inside was dry. Overall, a great bag!
