Capes aren't just for superheros.
When you think of a cape, you probably think of your favorite hero battling with an evil adversary in an epic struggle for humanity or using their superpowers to control nature. You ask yourself, "Would a superhero still have powers if they weren't wearing a cape?" Throw on the Fjallraven Luhkka Down Cape, and see what it can do for you. OK, it might not make you a superhero. But if you consider windy, snowy weather an adversary worth battling, and if you constantly find yourself in an epic struggle to stay warm, the Lukkah Down Jacket is just what you need.
For maximum protection against the elements, the Luhkka is constructed with Fjallraven's signature G-1000 fabric—a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that is treated with a coating of Greenland Wax for durability and weather resistance. For maximum warmth, 700-fill goose down is used for insulation, and the jacket is lined with the incredibly soft, lightweight, and breathable Pertex Quantum fabric. A fixed, faux-fur-lined adjustable hood works in conjunction with a 1/4-length front zipper to seal out drafts and keep falling snow from getting in through the collar.
The Luhkka Down Jacket can be layered over anything from a thin dress to your regular winter outwear. Button snaps at the wrist accommodate different uses and keep the garment in place. When the buttons are snapped, quasi-sleeeves are formed that provide a better seal at the wrists and keep the arms warmer and the cape closer to the body. A generous fleece-lined kangaroo pocket is available for storage or as a handwarmer pocket if your digits get chilly. If you're looking for maximum protection in snowy, windy climates and your current parka just isn't cutting it, do yourself a favor and slip on the Luhkka Down Cape from Fjallraven.

Just got it today and I am in love with this coat/cape. I have a lot of over sized sweaters that never fit in a traditional coat sleeves but now I can wear them and have a coat to look stylish and warm. Headed out to Park City next week and I can't wait to wear it everywhere but on the MTN!
Does this take up a lot of room in a suitcase?
