I bought the navy to go with my dark navy No.2 kanken and I think the color is very close. I purchased the kanken and wore it on a trip without the shoulder pads and took multiple trips with the pads and I 100% recommend buying them. They really do prevent the straps from digging into your shoulders

I've used it several times

I?ve been using my Kanken backpack for so many years now, but I?ve been curious about the shoulder pads since I?ve seen them on the market. I?m very glad I purchased these because they make a wonder of a difference! Even though the straps on my backpack have become very soft over the years, they?re still thin and can dig in a bit if I fill it to the brim with water, layers, and snacks. Fj°llr°ven always has solid products and I can already feel this being a great investment. They?re applied in just a snap! Trimmed the rough corners and now I?ve got comfort for daily adventures.

Adding a little comfort

I have had my Kanken a year now, and its a great bag, with or without shoulder pads, but the pads do help when my bag has more stuff in it. I couldn't get the same colour pads as my bag, but that doesn't bother me, It makes my bag stand out, and I know with the straps, I'll have my bag for years to come!

A great addition to a great backpack

This addition to the Kanken was a no brainer for me. The original straps were not uncomfortable at all when loading the back with weight, but these shoulder pads alleviate any pressure making the pack a super comfortable carry. I also like that I can mix and match colors!

Definitely more comfortable but unnecessary

The comfort difference isnt extreme but I liked the minimalist look of the bag without them a lot better. BUT without then sometimes my underarm gets pinched and irritated so I'm constantly back and forth on yes strap vs no strap

Comfortable Stylish

The backpack shoulder pads for my Kånken have been awesome. They're stylish and make the Kånken even more comfortable then it already is!!!
