The definition of classic.
The classic Fjallraven Greenland No. 1 Special Edition Jacket first debuted in 1968, and this reissue is true to the spirit and design of the original. The heart of this jacket is Fjallraven's signature G-1000 Eco fabric, which is a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton. The highly durably fabric is tightly woven and then impregnated with a treatment of G-1000 Wax, which gives it excellent wind and water resistance while still maintaining breathability. The fixed hood, zipper with button flap, and two breast pockets remain true to the original design, as well as the leather details on the shoulders and arms. Wear a piece of history that still holds its own in the modern world with the Greenland No. 1 Special Edition Jacket.

THIS is the jacket. Classy as any Barbour coat. Rugged as any Carhart (or Fjallraven, for that matter). But that style though, you will feel as good as you look wearing this. It fits nicely, a little trim in the core, but just enough to still contain a sweater or hoodie underneath. Broad shoulders for that Swedish strong man inside you. This jacket can go for hike, and go to the nicest restaurant in the ritziest mountain town, and would certainly look the part in St. Moritz or Park City. Attached is a pic of the waxed material doing it's job keeping a heavy rain at bay...
