Suede trim comes standard in high-end sports cars—why not on your high-end road bike? Before you answer, know that the Fi'zi:k Arione Suede Saddle is way ahead of you. Already well known for making some of the world's best road saddles, Fi'zi:k pushed the luxury bar a little higher with the Arione Suede, which features a center strip of the soft, fuzzy leather to improve grip and boost the sweetness factor a couple of notches. Fi'zi:k's signature Wing Flex design and K:ium rails are evidence that you're not just paying for the pretty decorations.

Bottom Line: A phenomenal saddle with an extra touch of class.

Hey, does anyone know how the lack of a cutout/center groove affects comfort?I've switched to a saddles with cutouts, which I find pretty comfortable, but I'm in need of a new one at the moment, and these Fi'zi:k saddles have quite the reputations as of late, so I'm curious how they compare.Thanks.

I enjoy having the air flow in my saddle, if nothing else it helps keep things a little drier. Fi'zi:k does make decent saddles, but all the guys in my shop (including myself) that have tried the Arione absolutely hate it. It's uncomfortable and downright sucks, even with the best of chamois. Our shop has made these three saddles 'must-haves' for all employee bikes:http://www.backcountry.com/store/SEL0006/Selle-Italia-Flite-Gel-Flow-Saddle.html (#1)http://www.backcountry.com/store/SEL0004/Selle-Italia-Flite-Classic-Gel-Flow-Saddle.html (#2, if you're cheap)http://www.mtbr.com/cat/controls/saddle/tioga/spyder-saddle/PRD_412516_140crx.aspx (not kidding, this thing rocks)

I had Selle San Marco Azoto Tri that came with the bike and the nose was too wide so it was making noise by my thighs touching the nose while i was peddling. I am not a big rider I am 6ft and 150pounds. Most importantly I was probably losing a lot of energy and not being efficient with my thighs touching the nose. It was also hurting some of the areas that I've never felt pain before.
So, I purchased this great saddle Fizik Arione and it's the most comfortable and efficient saddle out there in the market in my opinion. No touching on the nose while peddling, no pain, efficient, looks awesome! It's great how simple thing like saddle can make your bike feel so much better. I definitely recommend this saddle to anyone who wants to buy new one.
