Arione Saddle
There’s not much we could say about the Fizik Arione that hasn’t already been said. What speaks louder, though, is a quick look at the bike storage racks in the office –if it has drop bars, it almost certainly has an Arione on it. The secret is Fizik’s Wing Flex technology, which allows the saddle edges to flex as you pedal. This translates to a more natural pedal stroke and less fatigue on long rides.

Best saddle I've ever used
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought my first Arione about 18 years ago to replace the Selle San Marco saddle that came on my 2002 Klein Quantum. It's still on the Klein with tens and tens of thousands of miles on it. I bought a new road bike last September and was delighted when the dealer told me that Fizik still makes the Arione. He has one on all of his personal bikes. I will be buying another one to replace the stock saddle in the spring when I return home to PA after spending the winter riding the Klein in Florida. I'm not even considering any other saddle.

I won't bother trying another saddle. It is perfect and I love the price! This is the lowest priced saddle in the FI'ZI:K line up and ironically the best. When it was launched it was not very popular. I found that strange and looked into the matter. This saddle is perfect for flexible riders who don't move their hips excessively when riding. That is why the company has three lines of saddles, for different kinds of riders. Try the Arione first. It might be the last saddle you need to buy! It is that good.
