Antares R1 Saddle

Fi’zi:k designed the Antares R1 Saddle to provide the perfect combination of comfort and flexibility with extraordinary lightness. Within Fi’zi:k’s Spine Concept fit system, the Antares R1 features a chameleon profile for moderately flexible riders that adjust their position on the saddle and adapt for optimal power transfer. The shell is reinforced nylon carbon thermoplastic and sandwiches a layer of foam for the perfect balance stiffness and flexibility. The saddle features Fi’zi:k’s Wingflex technology which allows the sides of the saddle to flex for efficient pedaling, while the top of the saddle remains rigid for support. Fi’zi:k covers the Antares R1 with a sleek and durable microtex fabric.

Fi’zi:k uses braided carbon fiber for the Antares R1’s rails, which are around 30g lighter than the K:ium rails. Fi’zi:k wraps the rails with an additional layer of carbon fiber cloth for improved durability, and the rails are give a textured surface for secure clamping.
