    Simple and spacious.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

This is the second Fishpond pack I've owned and I really like the layout of this waist pack. First of all, this pack is BIG. The main compartment has an internal sleeve that will fit a few bug boxes (I've been rolling with three in there) and that still leaves plenty of room for an extra layer, spool, and a cold snack, or two. The pack fits comfortably and has plenty of loops to clip tippet and tools to. The net sleeve does make it a lot easier to carry a larger net like the nomad around. It even has a zippered front pocket for smaller items like your split shot, indicators, and dry shake. The two water bottle holders are pretty roomy, too. I put a Nalgene in there the other day and didn't have any problems. They even had some room to spare with a koozie-clad in there. My two gripes with this pack is that it doesn't give you tons of organization options and you can't really get into the pack that easily with a net in the sleeve. Bottom line is if you're looking for a roomy pack without a ton of bells and whistles, then this is probably the pack for you. If you like your stuff compartmentalized and organized, then you'll want to look elsewhere.
