Great Bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I had been eyeing this bag for a while and knew it was going to be the bomb.com. Already had a fishpond bag, but I out grew the old one and upgraded to the DOUBLE HAUL. It holds everything and than some! Many pockets/ compartments to organize your tools and fly boxes. Has a main compartment that you can expand, to pack more for the long days. Love that you can detach the front chest pouch if you want to lighten your load.
Love that it has the hydration compartment as well, just transferred my camel pack bladder over to this. Overall very pleased and think its a great buy!

Double Haul

Ilove this pack and with the exception of the flybench pocket, have zero complaints, and the one I have is small. The problem with the fly bench pocket is that you can only carry nymphs because when both pockets are loaded and you do any amount of hiking, it mashes any dries or anything with any kind of hackle or para top. Other than that love it. Great for day trips, with large enough hydration pack to spend two miles hiking a slot canyon and easy six hours on the water in the hot Utah summer. Also backpack is big enough for grub, extra gear, and even a long sleeve fleece jacket, without being uncomfortable.
