RCS Skate Cold Ski

Fischer athletes have been stacking up medals on the RCS Skate Cold Ski for over 20 years, making it perhaps the most storied skate ski in history. While it's been replaced at the top of Fischer's line in recent years by the Speedmax and Carbonlite, it's still a high-performance skating machine, with a lightweight Air Core that's reinforced with carbon fiber and given added torsional stability by Power Edge construction, letting you turn every ounce of energy output into track-gobbling speed. The RCS Cold has a DTG World Cup Cold base that's ground to excel in average to soft conditions, thanks to a fine structure that glides over cold snow and Skating 610 camber that distributes weight evenly, relieving pressure at the tip and tail to eliminate stickiness and hang-ups.

The RCS's World Cup Skating sidecut keeps you flying forward, rather than wasting energy moving side to side, and tracks exceptionally well to provide a stable, easy platform. Fischer also gave the RCS an ultralight carbon laminate in the tip and tail to reduce swing weight, increase maneuverability, and help eliminate tip drag, so you can efficiently transition from stride to stride with no hang-ups.
