Make your own tracks with the Outback.

The Fischer Outback 68 Ski leaves groomed trails and set-in tracks behind and prefers to pave its own path through untracked terrain. Its OffTrack Crown technology provides reliable climbing, while the Outback's Nordic Rocker profile makes it easy to turn downhill and easy to float in anything from smooth, soft snow to ankle-deep powder. A fiberglass wood core with integrated air channels saves weight, resists breaking, and distributes pressure evenly while sandwich cap construction makes the Outback lightweight and durable. Fischer's proprietary OffTrack Crown pattern (a molded, positive-kick pattern inserted into the ski's midsection) gives you waxless kick with exceptional uphill grip, kick, and glide while narrow steel edges along the length of the ski guarantee constant edge contact on every surface.

  • Nordic rocker camber (early-rise tips, traditional camber underfoot)
  • Sandwich cap construction
  • Wood core
  • Air tech technology
  • Steel edges
  • Base finish with speed grinding
  • OffTrack crown pattern

My question is regarding the Fischer Outback 68 skis.
I'm 5,8' with an average weight of 170 to 175.
I'll be using them most of the time, only with a 20 Lt. day-pack for day touring, on flat to moderate terrain.
What size do you recommend

Thank you and please, excuse my English, I'm french.
