If you didn’t know better, you’d almost think the Fischer Boundless Crown Ski was an alpine ski. A wide platform and increased sidecut make for easy floating and effortless turning, while a strong camber helps absorb the flex of making powder turns down the hill. This burly cross-country ski maintains a light weight thanks to the air channels built into the wood-fiberglass core. Full-length metal edges provide total turn control and backcountry fishscales bite the trail, giving you killer traction on the flats and ups. Fischer decked the Boundless out with a sintered base for ultra-smooth gliding and zippy downhill action.

Bottom Line: Get serious about your cross-country tours.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

what should be the adequate binding for these skies? how about a Rotteffela Magnum? I like a backountry sky able to go up moderate steps without using skins, but safe in slope-downs (i dont have telemark skills). Thank you!.

They're fine as long as you're not trying to use them on a groomed trail. These things are fantastic for backcountry touring.
