Part of Fischer's Big Stix collection, the Big Stix 100 Ski is just like your dinner plate on Thanksgiving: it has a little bit of everything. At 100mm underfoot, it's the narrowest in the Big Stix line, meaning it's quicker edge to edge and enjoys hardpack more than its fatter older brothers, but it still has a moderately rockered tip and tail to feast on shin-deep powder when it's there for the taking. Perfect for advanced intermediate skiers, the Big Stix has a light and lively beech core to provide plenty of energy and a strong sandwich construction with angled ABS sidewalls to prevent damage and keep the ski from feeling overly edgy. Sintered bases hold onto wax to keep you ripping. The only drawback is that you'll have to figure out a way to kill time when you're waiting for your buddies to catch up.
