The jacket is insulated with 550-fill goose down for serious warmth, and it is housed in Filson's rugged and water-repellent oil finish Tin Cloth that will wear well whether the jacket sees most of its use in the city, or out in the hills. The shoulders and forearms are reinforced with oil finish Shelter Cloth for extra protection from wear and rain. The jacket maintains a no-frills build with a fixed, wool-lined hood and button-adjustable cuffs. The front is equipped with hand and chest pockets, while the full front zip is supported by a front button placket.
