  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We are fairly new kayakers and use our kayaks in the bay where we live near San Juan Islands. We stay closer to the coast and haven't ventured out into the channel. Thus far we have enjoyed the Nomad. It is easy to handle, easy to carry, easy to maneuver. Prefer it to the Juntos we also have as the Nomad is quicker. We enjoy the sit-on-top style as you don't need a lot of skill to enjoy them.

Our ordering process went smoothly too. We found it online and had it shipped. Salesperson was helpful and pleasant. When it arrived, the shipping company managed to put a few scratches in the bottom, but they did not seem to be an issue and probably the first of many on the rocks to come. So we accepted it and have enjoyed it since.

Would recommend it to easy-going, recreational kayakers!
