Candide 1.0 Poplar Ski

Aristotle, Elvis, Voldemort, Candide—some people are so famous they only need one name, and if you've ever seen Mr. Thovex shred, you know why. Of course, when he's jibbing the Jehosaphat out of everything he sees, he gets a little help from the Faction Candide 1.0 Poplar Ski, which uses a Superlite balsa-wood and flax-fiber core and traditional camber to help him boost halfway to the moon. The Candide is light enough that it's designed to be ridden slightly longer than traditional park skis so you have the stability of a bigger plank without the cumbersome swing weight. 

At 88mm underfoot, the Candide's more of a park and groomer ski than an off-piste killer, but it's so much fun that you won't even wonder what you're missing. Its sandwich construction and P-Tex 4000 base are tough as nails and quick as greased lightning, respectively, and the custom matte topsheet is simple but classy so all the attention will stay focused on your riding, not on some sort of hallucinogen-inspired graphic.
