The Exped SIM Light Comfort Foam sleeping pad combines the best of foam mats (insulating power) and inflatable air mats (lightweight). Better yet, because this is a Self-Inflating Mat, you don't have to waste your breath on puffing it up before crashing out. The Comfort Foam provides even better insulation than most traditional bonded foam mats.

Bottom Line: Sleep tight and travel light with the Comfort Foam pad.

I slept like a baby on this pad. It's really cushy and just like sleeping on a real bag. Loved it.

cold car

I found this pad very comfy when cramped in the back of my jeep. With Temps in the 30s and my marmot helium sleeping bag I was super impressed. Seems to have a hardy cover, so it doesn't worry me too much about punctures. It does seem pretty heavy so the question or if comfort is worth the weight becomes a factor. As for ease of use the two air inlet holes are nice for deflating and rolling it up. It took less work than I thought it would put it back into its storage sack. It might find its way out of the car and into the wilderness, but a patch kit would be coming along. I give it a 5 for overall it worked and met my standards for what I’m using it for.

Great Pad!

We my past pad, I would wake up every hour, have bruised shoulder and hips from a thin/soft pad or a very stiff/sore lower back. This pad was great; I slept like a baby, it's like sleeping on your own bed at home.

Warm and Comfy

This pad is pretty sweet. It was nice and thick and provides great insulation on cold nights. It basically self inflates, you only need to give a few breaths of air to inflate it fully.

Great pad, I am coming off massive back surgery, and after backpacking up the mountain this is a great relaxing pad to sleep on. It has lots of foam, so you can blow it up more for stiffer or less for cushy. It is not very small it was bigger than my 1 man tent, but it was super comfy and I stay so warm on it! And let me tell you, if my back can sleep on it...it is a great item!

This SIM Light air pad only took about a minute to blow up. You only need to open holes and roll up to let air out. The only thing I would want more is maybe a bit wider.
