The Exped Schnozzle PumpBag makes pumping your inflatable mat a breeze, and it won't leave you winded. Simply let the PumpBag fill with air, and then apply pressure to easily inflate your sleeping gear. The integrated Schnozzel connects to current Exped mats without a built-in pump. Plus, it conveniently doubles as a waterproof gear or sleeping bag stuff sack thanks to taped seams and a waterproof coating.

Great Volume

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've got a couple of different exped comfort mattresses and this fills them with ease. It does take a minute to find the best method of maximizing the potential volume of this bag, but once there, it fills even my double wide comfort mat relatively quickly. Much much faster than the tiny pump they ship with.

Easy and Fun, Just Like Your Mom!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When companies claim that their product will make inflating a sleeping pad an easy operation that will take three minutes, I rarely believe it. But the schnozzle really works! I have the Exped SynMat UL 9 in the long/wide (my big guns sleeping pad) and with the schnozzle it really DOES just take a couple of easy minutes to inflate! It weighs practically nothing and takes up very little room in your pack (I just roll it up and cram it into my tent bag), and then you have a sleeping pad full of nice fresh air and not swampy people breath that will leave moisture in your pad and cool off. It's easy to use, it turns something that can be a bit of a pain in the ass into a fun chore AND you get to say "schnozzel." Win win win.

The only thing I'd say negatively is that for the amount Exped pads cost, I'd kinda expect the schnozzle to be included.

UPDATE: After using it for the better part of a year, the schnozzel has held up great! I looooove it that because it's not swampy air I'm putting into my pad, I know it's not full of moisture and I feel like that will really extend the life of my sleeping pad AND will keep the insulation in it dry and toasty. Still loving it!
