  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs large

for traveling or hiking...tons of pockets with zipper closures to make sure stuff stays where you want it. Light weight and super durable I taken my on backpacking trips and throughout Eastern and Central Europe and they still look brand new. They do run slightly large but not too much. Buy these shorts!

Great shorts

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Sizing was the main concern for me, but I followed a couple of other user reviews and sized down. My waist measures at 36 and I ordered a size 34 from TheClymb. I can slip these shorts on without undoing the button/zipper. They fit a little loose, but not enough to tighten with a belt. They have a lot of pockets and zippers, which was the main reason I got them (to ride my bike). They are relatively long for shorts. I'm 5 8" and they drop well past the knees. Took them on an easy 5 mile ride the other day and they were great.

Edit: These are closer to knickers on me than shorts. My wife saw me wear them and said "I like those knickers". I tried to convince her they were shorts, but they are really between knickers and shorts in terms of length. That doesn't bother me as I wear knickers for cycling anyways.

Definitely recommend

These shorts quickly became my favorite travel shorts. The material feels awesome, although after wearing them for a few days straight, they do start to feel a little oily. And you should definitely order a size small. I typically wear a 32 in waist and I ordered a 30 (I have experience with exofficio...) and it's a tad snug which is perfect. I recently wore them on a week long trip around Mexico and they stole the show. The gusseted crotch is awesome and never binds, and all the pockets are SUPER handy. I never had to worry about stains, tearing, or pickpockets, which was great.
