Nice... but a few issues...
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I gave this product a five star review, because it does what it says it does. That being said, there are a few issues. While, they are nice looking, especially when sitting around outside on a cool summer night. Or, alternatively, when one is out on a small lake on a breezy night and the bugs are driving one crazy... This is a perfect shirt (alone or with another fishing shirt over it). However, as far as using these while one is on the trail, I have a few concerns. The weight, especially when wet is prohibitive. And they ABSOLUTELY DO NOT dry quickly. Not by any stretch of the imagination.... Due to the way the wetness stays imbedded in this product (and cannot be wrung out well), there is always the possibility of hypothermia out on the trail etc...). Another concern which runs to this last, is the fact that these are not exactly the "tech" materials alluded to on the ex-officio and other websites. These feel like cotton only. And their weight, slow drying, shrinking, tightness after drying (mostly in the sleeves) verifies this fact.
All that having been said. These shirts are still nice for other things. Cookouts, get-togethers and non-trail activities (going to the park to walk the dog etc..). My wife assures me there are other uses for such shirts other than hiking and fishing. I don't know what the heck she's talking about! Things to do other than hiking and fishing? Like what?
Another issue is the price. I am not one to skimp on a nice shirt over a few dollars, but if your going to buy a lot of these shirts. One can buy the EXACT same thing thru Zorrel. They are identical shirts, except for the company name on the arm (back etc.). They obviously purchase the same goods thru the same suppliers, and then each company puts their own name/brand logo on them. I have both shirts, in long and short sleeve, and I can tell you they are exactly the same. The only other difference is the Zorrel is ten or twenty dollars cheaper depending on sale prices.
Does it really work?
Obviously this spider cannot read French! Or maybe it was really trying to run away, but the plastic wrapper got in the way. (It did try to run away when I opened the package, and no, I didn't open the paper towel to make sure I got him.)

- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
Bugs normally gravitate my way but with this shirt, they stayed away from me @ Wonder Lake in Denali. Definitely worth the investment.
