Only Brief My Husband Now Wears
- Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit:True to size
- Size Bought: XL
Hubby says these are the only undies that he can wear while riding his Harley without chafing. He now wears them each and every day. He loves them especially when he can get them on sale.
Best under where, period.
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought: Medium
I have several pair of these and love them. Also tried other similar brands, but these are way better. Great when traveling, really. Comfortable, great fit and super easy to wash in hotel sink. Worth it.

Boxers or Briefs

I have been wearing the boxers for years. I have tried other synthetic underwear, but ExOffico are the best. The legs on the boxers are quite baggy, not so good with tight jeans. I got the briefs and really like them. My big gripe with Tighty Whities is that the leg openings are so tight. the ExOfficio aren't too tight and have a soft band that does not dig in.
ExOfficio Give-N-Go Brief
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
- Fit:True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I have worn these briefs a few times and find them very comfortable. I still sweat in these on hot days but find they dry a lot quicker than regular cotton briefs. I am happy with this purchase and they were on sale too!!
Great Underwear

- Size Bought: Medium
Love these. Very lightweight and comfortable. Dry quickly. Fit true to size.
Better than expected
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
- Fit:Runs small
Regarding size: My waist is about 33, but I always buy and wear size 34 off the shelf, e.g., jeans, khakis, etc. I originally bought the size M brief, in accordance with the size chart. But, the size M brief was too small (although useable). I then ordered the size L and it's perfect in terms of size, style (cut), material and overall comfort..
Give-N-Go Brief
Breathable, lightweight, odor resistant and long-wearing, you will toss them into your carry-on for every trip. Soon they will replace every other pair in your underwear drawer.
Give-N-Go Brief
Just toss your Give-N-Goâs in the laundry or wash them in a sink. Within hours you will have a fresh, dry pair of underwear.
They're underwear, and they work.
- Familiarity:I've used it several times

I own two pairs of these and they are as advertised. They're underwear and they work - what else can you say?
The fabric is kind of mesh-like, resulting in chafing a few times on long, hot days. The heather color material in particular seems to be a little more coarse. I personally prefer the Capilene fabric in Patagonia's briefs as Capilene is a bit softer, but the Ex Officio product does work as advertised! They dry very quickly and tend not to retain stink. I've worn them for 3-4 days straight with good results.
Great supportive briefs

These are great briefs for walking, hiking and even running. They are wicking and dry quickly.
The only panties I wear
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:True to size
I only wear ExOffico and own several pairs. They're the best. I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail wearing these. The only problems I've come across is that after a while the waistband gets stretched out from the spin cycle of the washing machine. If you handwash or use a delicate cycle it would eliminate this problem. The other issue is on the blue, grey, and green colors the groin area develops bleach patches. But, I believe this is from using a benzoyl peroxide based body wash.
The best underwear ever!
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:True to size
These are the best fitting underwear ever. I own 50 pairs and replace them as they wear out. They're NOT cotton. I have a big butt and they stretch to fit. They also are very supportive. I can't understand why anyone would wear boxer shorts? They have NO support. If you hate boxer shorts you'll LOVE this underwear brand.
10 times better then cotton underware
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
I have used these for three years since Phil Mont. Are the best in high temp and humidity
Great fit, durable, still in service
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bought a few of these a few years ago, and they've been my choice ever since. I'll keep buying ExOfficio briefs even if some here are not very happy with the product; I like them.
Expensive Luxury
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

A touch on the expensive side but you get is what you pay for. Great fit, strong waistband, excellent support and drys in a second. I replaced pairs that I bought 4 years ago so you get a good life span. Highly recommended.
Very Comfortable Underwear
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bought these cause they were on sale and cheaper than the boxers. I bought one pair of boxers for variety, they are just as comfortable and provide great support. Will definitely buy more pairs for more treks and extended trips.

Write your question here...I heard that there were fit problems with a "new model" in 2008; they went back to the "original" model in 2009..... and that the new model (improved) had "ex officio" all around on the upper band---which your picture doesn't show.
Is your product the 2008 version or the 2009 version?
it is 2009. I have asked the buyers to update their photos.
Thanks for keeping us up to speed.
