Here's what others have to say...

They're underwear, and they work.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I own two pairs of these and they are as advertised. They're underwear and they work - what else can you say?

The fabric is kind of mesh-like, resulting in chafing a few times on long, hot days. The heather color material in particular seems to be a little more coarse. I personally prefer the Capilene fabric in Patagonia's briefs as Capilene is a bit softer, but the Ex Officio product does work as advertised! They dry very quickly and tend not to retain stink. I've worn them for 3-4 days straight with good results.

Great supportive briefs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are great briefs for walking, hiking and even running. They are wicking and dry quickly.

The only panties I wear

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I only wear ExOffico and own several pairs. They're the best. I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail wearing these. The only problems I've come across is that after a while the waistband gets stretched out from the spin cycle of the washing machine. If you handwash or use a delicate cycle it would eliminate this problem. The other issue is on the blue, grey, and green colors the groin area develops bleach patches. But, I believe this is from using a benzoyl peroxide based body wash.

Just Make the switch already

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I only wear these now. And cant see that ever changing. they are amazing, fit my larger athletic legs that others never do. And they are not cotton! I wear these everyday, skiing, backpacking, have even taken them on month long trip to europe. They can be easily washed out and if you dont get a change, you should be okay for at least two days in them even if you do sweat a lot.

The best underwear ever!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are the best fitting underwear ever. I own 50 pairs and replace them as they wear out. They're NOT cotton. I have a big butt and they stretch to fit. They also are very supportive. I can't understand why anyone would wear boxer shorts? They have NO support. If you hate boxer shorts you'll LOVE this underwear brand.

10 times better then cotton underware

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used these for three years since Phil Mont. Are the best in high temp and humidity

Great fit, durable, still in service

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I bought a few of these a few years ago, and they've been my choice ever since. I'll keep buying ExOfficio briefs even if some here are not very happy with the product; I like them.

Expensive Luxury

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

A touch on the expensive side but you get is what you pay for. Great fit, strong waistband, excellent support and drys in a second. I replaced pairs that I bought 4 years ago so you get a good life span. Highly recommended.

Very Comfortable Underwear

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these cause they were on sale and cheaper than the boxers. I bought one pair of boxers for variety, they are just as comfortable and provide great support. Will definitely buy more pairs for more treks and extended trips.

comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

keep the jewels nicely in place. multiple washings does not seem to phase them

The Only Pair of Boxer You Need

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Although I won't go as far as posting a picture, I will go as far to say that these are the most functional pair of boxer I have ever owned. I got these for a recent month long trip to the United Kingdom, and put my faith in their claim to be the "only pair of boxer you will need" well they were true. These things are super comfortable, quick-drying, easy to wash, and provide a good amount of comfort. They have quickly become my go to pair of undershorts, and I now own several pair. Would definitely recommend.

Best briefs

I bought these for a 2 week backpacking trip in Europe last summer and knew I only wanted to bring 2-3 pairs of underwear that I'd be able to wash in a sink of a hostel/hotel and be dry the next day. These worked out so great for me that I ended up buying another 2 pairs when I got home. These are extremely comforable and wick moisture extremely well. I've had them for about a year and wear them day in and day out and they have held up very well. I'm very impressed with these and would definately recommend them for anyone.

Good, but go with the boxers

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I guess this is more of a preference thing, but I found the boxer's to be more comfortable. I don't usually wear briefs, but they were on sale so I thought I'd try them out. If you're a briefs man, then these should be great for you.

Good stuff

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought 3 pairs. Had them for about 1 month.
Regular laundrymat machine washings, no problems so far.
As comfortable as the nicest pair of cotton briefs.

who said undies can't be awesome?

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Worn these exclusively the last couple years. No, not the same pair -- I've got a bunch. Breathe well and plenty supportive for any activity. 30/31 inch waist, and the small is the best fit for me.

Got them for travel, kept them forever!

I don't really want to wax on about briefs too long, but these are pretty much a staple for me now. Yes, they are great for travel, but aside from price there is no reason to switch to these for everyday wear.

They cost more, but they last MUCH longer than their cotton counterparts.

Awsome Give And Go Briefs

I am a Aircraft Tech and spend a lot of time on the tarmac in 100 plus temp. These briefs keep me dry and comfortable all day and feel great as well. Highly recommend them for hiking to hot days under the sun. Never been chapped like with cotton briefs. Last longer than cotton!
