The Ex Officio Men's Give-N-Go Boxer Brief is the one pair you'll pack every time. These breathable boxers air dry in a few hours so you can wash as you go and carry fewer pairs. Made from Give-N-Go Stretch, these three inch inseam briefs move with you and wick perspiration, which makes them as ideal for traveling or backpacking. Ex Officio treated these boxer briefs with an anti-microbial finish, so if you can't do laundry for a day or three, your boxers won't offend.

Having consistently used these underwear for the last 6-7 years I have to say I have not found a better product from any other company. They draw moisture away from your body quickly, and dry very quickly making the ideal when doing laundry in a hotel sink or a river. They also maintain their shape longer than most other underwear I have worn, keeping everything where it should be and not turning into regular boxers after a day or two wearing them. During two deployments to Afghanistan these were the only underwear I used, keeping me comfortable and rash free.
Good but not great!

I do like the undies! BUT... they do never smell bad, I mean never but they always and that is always have their own distinct smell which reminds me of peanut butter. So no matter what they have that same smell whether it has been three days in a row of shredding gnar or just out of the washer. Only other item that isn't a complaint is the material is not super comfortable, when compared to tarramar, rei, nike, stoic the other brands materials are just softer and more cozy. But they hold up well, everything still fits really well they do very well with moisture. So overall if you want a pair to last a long time and work very well these are great. I would probably not buy again.

I have been using these for a little over 3 years now. They have stood up to abuse very well. They are very comfortable and perfect for working out in. They dry quickly and don't hold onto smell or stains. They are a little on the pricey side but will outlast most other pairs of underwear you buy.

If you are usually at a 36 I would go with a large, but if you are usually a 34 I would go with a Medium. That waist size is tough, because that is where the size splits. I am a 34 and can definitely say that it is on the high end of the medium option.

Go with the large, you can always grow into them. :)

I have to agree with 20r. Even if you don't plan on growing into them, it sucks to be too restricted.

Bought 3 pairs of these at a recent sale that a local outdoor store in town had going on, and since I have had the chance to use them, I decided a review was in order.
Simply put, if I had more money, I would just go ahead and get rid of all my regular boxers and replace them with these. Typically, I avoid briefs; however, I am planning a thru-hike of the PCT early/mid-2013 and once seeing these, I did something I never normally do - impulse buy. However, thankfully my intuition was up to par that day, because on the days that I have vetted them thus far, they literally feel like I'm not wearing any underwear which is fantastic. Not only are they light, but they are also pretty sharp looking (as far as underwear go, in my opinion) and they do exactly as promised. I have not yet had to wear them for days at a time, but on the 2+ day trials that I've put them through up to this point, they have been a spectacular purchase and I would recommend them to anyone looking for good base undergarments in the crotchel region. I look forward to having these with me on my imminent through-hike.
*Note* Each pair of these underwear are listed on ExOfficio's site as weighing 2.5oz for those of you who are concerned about the weight aspect.

With all the great reviews there's little I can add. I wear nothing but Ex Officio underwear. They are great for backpacking as I can get buy with one, at most two, pairs. They are great for kayaking as they drive super fast. I even wear them under my fire department bunker gear (though nylon is prohibited) thinking that if it ever gets that hot down there I'm in serious trouble anyway! Buy with confidence.
If I could walk around in this I would

I've been wearing these for years and have gone through many pairs. They feel great and fit right. The only problem I have with them is the waistband ends up streatching out too much so they don't stay up anymore. I think that is because I'm always wearing them in the water in slot canyons or under my board shorts or wetsuit when swimming, Kayaking, Rafting, canyoneering, kiteboarding, or chilling in the hot tub. I abuse them.

At time of writing, 159 reviews and a solid 5 star rating... what more can I say? For years I was on a quest for the perfect pair of boxer briefs. After trying these, my quest was over. 11 pairs later and I think I'm set. Now if we could just get them to work on the price...

I bought four pairs based on the previous reviews and all I can say is I will be buying a few more. Great fit, not too tight and not too lose and doesn't ride up all day.

Hi, I have always loved ExOfficio's normal boxers, however, I recently got a small hernia pretty low down and the doc said that I need to be wearing something that is much more supportive. He recommended a jock, however, that's just not very comfortable for every day use. I was wondering if these are fairly supportive in that area or if the briefs would be a better option. Thanks!

Hi Eric,
The ExOfficio Boxer Brief certainly offer more support than the boxer. The Brief offers the most however. My recommendation would be to pick up a pair and take them to the doc for an official verdict. Taking chances down there is far to risky in my opinion!!
Pretty much the best product ever.

I love these things, so much, in fact, that I've spent the last 4 years of my life phasing out all the other skivvies in my wardrobe and replacing them with these. Why? Several reasons.
I first discovered these undies when I was gearing up for a 7 month trip through central America that I took with my then girlfriend/now wife in 2008. I brought 3 pair of these and one pair of the regular boxers and they were all I needed.
You can wash these bad boys in any sink, shower, river or bucket you might happen across. Use laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo whatever (use something benign and free of dyes/fragrances if washing in a river, of course). Exofficio says they dry over night but if you have decent sunlight on them it's more like an hour.
You know what else is cool? Where these with some synthetic shorts when you're traveling/hiking/adventurin' and you no longer need a swim suit. I haven't owned a dedicated swimsuit for several years now. Just jump in, get out, walk around, hang out and you're good to go.
Finally, they're just comfy. They wick moisture and fit just right. Even if they didn't have all their other awesome qualities I'd still love 'em because they just feel right.
Get some.

I've done a fair bit of running, climbing, and hiking in these since getting them and I have to concur with the previous reviews, these Give N Go boxer briefs are awesome. Hopefully their longevity is as solid as their performance.
