ExOfficio Amphi Short - Men's - 2007 BCS

I bought my first pair of these three years ago. I still wear that pair and subsequently got two more. They are quick drying, extremely light and packable, super comfortable and they look great. you really can't go wrong with these shorts.

This is my second pair of these shorts in about 5 years. They last a long time and are extremely comfortable for hiking/camping/swimming/paddling. I highly recommend them!

These are outstanding shorts. I wore 2 pair for most of a 3-week trip to Asia. The left leg cargo pocket zips and that kept my stuff safe from pickpockets with a little reasonable care. No need to change when you get to a nice spot to take a cool dip. The mesh lining means not having to pack and wear briefs...very nice when hot! The sizes do indeed run small. I'm a 30-inch waist and was a bit tight in one pair (smalls). Ordered mediums to see if they were any better but they were too big so stuck with the smalls. Hoping the elastic wears out a bit on the smallest pair.

FYI... Ex Officio's sizing chart runs a little small. It states that the SMALL size is a 32 waist - men's. They were substantially smaller than that though. If you are on the borderline of sizes, go with a larger size... for me, the medium or "34" would have been better even though most of my other shorts are 32's. Other than that they are of very high quality, and I recommend them.
