I think these would work just fine. No need to drop 100+ and then she is just no into it or you break up. Get these or check out the outlet for even cheaper shoes.

This is the second pair I buy at backcountry.com and I am the happiest can be!!! The shoes are very comfortable on and fit very tightly but no pain. My normal street shoe size is 8us (38euro) and I bought the size 8 which fits good with no pain. i don't even have to take off the shoe between climbs.

I would say its ok i always tell people that if the shoes are a little uncomfortable then they fit just right. Slippers from hell!

I'm working my way through my second pair of this shoe, and absolutely love them. You can smear on the tiniest chip, and are comfortable enough that I don't have to rip them off immediately after finishing a route.
I need a women's climbing shoe that has a high instep and
I need a women's climbing shoe that has a high instep and arch support. I also have kind of wide feet, so that is an added need! Any advice? I currently have the MAdrock Flash and they CRUSH my feet. I thought I would eventually break them in, but I ddon't think it's going to happen! I do mostly outdoor, sport climbs. Any suggestions?

Try La Sportiva Katana. I have never met a fellow climber who did not like them. The arch is good, very comfy, great for sport and indoor. Wouldn't recommend them for crack climbing though, well, i wouldn't recommend any velcro shoe for crack climbing. They are made of leather, so they will stretch.Also, these Evolv rockstars would be a good choice. Although they seemed a bit narrower than I like.
