1) Do returns include free shipping? Its hard for me to find shoes that fit so I expect I may need to try several sizes.
2) Are there any limits on the lifetime warranty? Obviously a pair of shoes will never last a lifetime if you climb hard. Your lifetime guarantee seems to say you'll replace them when they wear out,but somehow I doubt that...

Hey Lucas,

Absolutely. Here at Backcountry we have a lifetime guarantee on all of our products. Doesn't matter if it's 3 weeks from now or 3 years from now, we'll take your product back if you're not happy with it.

It took a couple of climbing sessions before the rubber became "grippy". Some of the thread is appears (visually) to be wearing quickly but otherwise this is a comfortable shoe to climb in.

Took me to the next level in trusting my toe holds but they are too narrow for me in the toe. Have to take them off after 20min. Maybe a half size larger than my street shoes would work better.

I'm just getting used to the shoes and they exceed my skill level, and have done everything I've asked. I'm a nube, without a climbing store close so I ordered based on reviews. I ended up having to send these back twice to get the right size. I wear a 9.5-10 in most everything, but ended up with a 10.5 and they are still perfectly tight. This would have been a major problem with many outfits, but backcountry.com kept send them out and paying the whole way (2nd Day Air 3 times for outbound and UPS ground twice for returns)

The shoes are great, but are made better by a company with top end customer servicve.

I'm surprised at all of the positive reviews. My pair blew apart after about three months. Look elsewhere.

I climbed for the first time at the Gunks with Eastern Mountain Sports. They put me in the right size shoes but they absolutely killed my feet. These Demorto Shoes by Evolv are great. They give me the extra room I needed and perform wonderfully. I'm using them on the artifical rock at the gym and they grip like crazy. I couldn't be happier.

One of the only shoes out there i could find to fit my wide feet without hurting. Has a good stiff sole great for smearing on slab climbs. I've also have gotten several comments on the flashy design, very cool.

in 38 years of slabbing these are the best out of the box shoes i've ever owned. the midsole is stiff enough for support without killing sensitivity, the rubber is sticky enough without balling up grit under the edges and the toe box is spot on. they are precise and inspiring. wish i'd had them 20 years ago when i could still climb 5.12, but for feet beat with many hours of standing on tiny things these shoes are fantastic.
