Agro Climbing Shoe

Go all HAM on the hardest boulder problems in the Men's Agro Climbing Shoe, Evolv's ultimate high end bouldering boot. This shoe combines a powerful toe with the ultra-thin sensitivity that the strongest climbers are looking for. Its Tension Power System pulls the forefoot from three different points into a downturned profile that stays downturned longer than the competition. Evolv's new Cinch single pull closure provides a powerful fit that stays out of the way when you're toe-hooking. The Agro also features super sensitive SensaTrax rubber at the sole, a tensioned thin midsole, and a VTR rand at the toe for a longer performance.

Pretty good

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
13

The good: Perfect heel, surprising edging power, really comfy after break in, Trax rubber has the best blend of durability and friction that I've tried. The bad: Rubber covering the toes is too thick--feels like climbing in rainboots--poor sensitivity. They require a serious break in before they climb well, extremely stiff out of the box. Closure system didn't tighten the shoe over the front of my foot enough as I'd like. Overall, evolv agro's are a nicely made shoe thats equally at home on granite or indoors, clipping bolts or bouldering. A lower volume version with slightly thinner rubber over the top of the foot would make for a perfect shoe in my opinion. Sizing wise I'm somewhere in between 12.5 and 13 in my street shoes and I purchased these in size 13. I'd probably go down to 12.5 if I purchased them again however.
