Great feature
This feature makes the tent more versatile. great for warm night when there are no bugs! Can also be used as a sun shade.

Why put a seem on a ground cloth ???
I waited a long time for them to be in stock and my excitement was halted as soon as I unfolded it to find an oddly positioned seem, it wasn’t centered, it was off to one side like one roll of material ran out and then spliced on a piece. I don’t know how well it’s going to hold up for the price I should have just got a piece of plastic or Tyvek, and made my own especially for the price.

Great tent- 2nd review
Used for 3 days at a cycling event in Edenton, NC. Performed without incident in 25-30 mph sustained winds and wind-blown rain. Stayed dry inside, not one drop. Check your stakes every time you return to camp, the thin silver ones work loose and pop up in such winds but no issue with thicker plastic stakes. Buy extra stakes of each type so you are fully prepared. A friend helped remove and fold the fly which was a big help in the winds. Fold the tent as much as you can while still attached at each of the 4 corners, then remove corners. Tent was a little breezy even with windows and vestibule zipped closed, I wonder how warm it'd stay in chilly weather. A roomy sturdy tent.
