High Camp Tent: 2-Person 4-Season

Apart from the sprawling mountain views, rugged alpine landscapes, and untainted mountain environments, part of what lures you to the high mountains is witnessing the power of a high mountain snow storm. And even though you might appreciate the ferocity of a big blow, it's a much more enjoyable experience when you're safely stowed away in your Eureka High Camp 2-Person 4-Season Tent. With a five-pole rectangular dome design, narrow footprint, and freestanding frame, the High Camp will give you and your climbing partner a cozy home to rest, relax, and watch the storm pass before you make an attempt on the summit.

Eureka brought in mountain guide and alpinist Eric Simonson to help design and test the High Camp Tent, and his alpine-centered input is clearly visible. Five criss-crossing DAC aluminum poles give the tent a rectangular dome design that offers plenty of livable space inside, but is also resistant to high winds and heavy precip. The fly is composed of a 75D ripstop fabric with a PU coating to ward off water, while the internal canopy is fitted with adjustable roof vents and high/low venting doors to help prevent condensation from forming along the inside of the tent walls. Eureka equipped the High Camp with dual doors and vestibules to make for easy ins and outs during the night and provide plenty of space to stash gear in a dry place. Twelve internal pockets keep everything you need inside the tent organized and easily accessible when what looked like a quick-passing storms turns into a multi-day mountain blizzard.
