Description

Forget about pesky bugs when you're inside the Eureka 3-Season Hex Screen House.

After you get your tent pitched take a few minutes to put together Eureka's 3-Season Hex Screen House. When the sun goes down and the bugs come out you won't have to retreat to your tent, and you can sit at a picnic table and play cards without drenching yourself with bug dope. The hexagonal screen tent has a hub and six poles with external clips, so you can set it up in a snap. The two doors open wide enough to move in a picnic table, and it doesn't have a floor, so you don't have to worry about dropping food during mealtime. With 126 square feet, it's like bringing a sunroom to the campground.

Hey there, yeah not much you can do... it does have a polyester top so it will stop most rain... but the sides? You might have to find a tarp to go over it or go inside when it rains/blows...

I set this up alone with my ten year old without much trouble. We really enjoyed using this screenhouse.
It has a nice shape and color. Fits easily over large state park picnic tables. Kept out most of the bugs.
Was strong enough for the PA northwoods.

Hi,
I'm looking for a screened house that has shades attached so you can block the wind from any direction.

Has anyone one heard of one?

Perhaps overkill, but:

I'm looking for one too, 10 years ago I had a 6 sided spalding dining tent purchased through Canadian Tyre here in Canada, cost $159Cdn, it had bungie/chain loaded 3-piece poles for the sides and 2-piece for the roof, it was a fantastic dining tent, leave the fly off in nice weather or install it in inclement weather.
Every second panel was a door, 2 of them had single zipper flaps while the main one had double sippers (full-panel sized square door, zipped up each side).

I've been looking for one for years since mine was stolen 6 years ago!

The Cabela Alaskan Guide® Model Gazebo looks suspicously like a rebadged Spalding, but of course with a Cabela price tag. Even allowing for inflation $420US is a 250% increase from the Canadian price of 10 years ago.

Is there any such thing as a screen room big enough to go around an above ground pool, with the roof also being made of screening to allow the sun to shine through? I need one about 30' x 30'. Would you have any idea where I might be able to get something like that?

I've never heard of anything like that. You're going to need to get that custom made.

Can you really seal out bugs without a floor? Won't they just come in thru the bottom?

I spray the bottom of my tent with any brand Insect repellent including the floor around the edge.. At night I hang a kerosene lantern from the center of the ceiling filled with citronella oil.. Gives you all the light you need without attracting all the bugs.. Works Great !!

I love the design of the Eureka Screen House Shelter. I am looking for something to cover my 18 ft. round pool. Does this come larger or could it be made larger? How much would it cost for a larger shelter?
