Eureka designers have been making comfortable, durable camp furniture for over 100 years, so they definitely know what they are doing by now. The Eureka Director's chair with Side Table is a good example of this experience at work. The powder coated steel frame can take a ton of abuse. The airy 3D mesh spacer in the lumbar panel, padded arm rests, and foam padding in the seat bottom all make this chair so comfortable that you won't want to leave camp.

...this chairble would be the love of my life.

Seriously, there may or may not have been some hard feelings for people who lingered too long in my seat - this chair was almost never left vacant during my camping trip. I did enjoy the "firmess" of the fabric - most camping chairs aren't as taut which tends to end up hurting my back if I've been sitting for a longer period of time. Seems very sturdy so far!

Obviously, this isn't a make or break purchase, but having the side table is really nice. Gives you a place to put your back-up beer; important when your life goal is to move around as little as possible (to conserve energy, of course). Folds flat and is easy to open/put away.

just right

like this chair, I am a short heavy gal and did not like always sitting on a metal folding chair especially on the ground that was a little soft. The legs of the folding chair would eventually sink into the ground and the solid seat would get uncomfortable. This chair with the bar on the bottom of the legs solved that problem and the seat allows air flow and is comfortable. The back is also straight enough so as not to make you feel like you need someone else pulling you out like other chairs of this type...

    Great Chair!

I searched and searched to find this. I could find no others just like it. I love it. Fits me perfectly - I'm a "short-round" plus sized over 60 active woman. Great on the deck or by the campfire, and my glass of wine is always in reach.

What is the width of the chair when set up? Considering for boat use!

      Hey Larry Lynch,

      Thanks for the question.

Below I have listed the chair dimensions when it is unfolded:

Chair Dimensions (with table down): 21 by 25 by 35 inches (DxWxH)

Chair Dimensions (with table up): 21 by 33.5 by 35 inches (DxWxH)

      I hope this helps!
