Make anyplace almost like home.

If you’ve ever spend the night on an air mattress laid out on the cold ground, you know what happens—as the air in the mattress cools, you’re left rolling around on a squishy mess that requires re-inflation. Make it easy on yourself next time, and throw the Eureka Camping Cot in the truck before you head to your favorite campsite for the weekend. Setup couldn’t be easier—just pull this durable cot out of its carry bag and pop it open in seconds. An attached zip pocket holds your headlamp after you’ve turned in for a good night’s sleep off the ground.

Great Camping Accessory

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

This cot is pretty easy to set up and its great to use for more than just a place to sleep. It's easy for two people to sit on the cot and play games/cards or to pull up next to the camp fire and squeeze a third person on there. I think it's more comfortable than sleeping on an air mattresses- which can deflate overnight when temps drop. Cots can also provide the sleeper more distance from the ground if they are not fond of night crawlers.

Nice and big.

This is my first cot and I'm impressed. Much bigger than i expected and fold up nicely. score.

Solid and relatively easy to setup. Putting the end piece on took a bit of brute strength/technique to get on. Ok once you get the hang of it.

      Cot that does the job

      • Gender:Male
      • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This is just an initial review as I've only had it for about a week. If you are at familiar with the army cots from the 80's-90's, it's basically the same thing. The end pieces do connect a heck of a lot easier though. I use it everyday so i'll do an update in 90 days. Basically seems very sturdy and very happy with it so far.

***Update*** 11/28/2013 Had it over a year now. Used every day. Just noticed some major tears on the side of the loops that hold the canvas in place. Still usable but will wear out at some point. I weigh maybe 210 and I haven't abused the cot. I now question it's 300 lb capacity for long term.
