    Solid Build

This tent is not the lightest for one person but it is heavy duty. I have a two person tent that is almost the same size but this tent is much more durable and I would recommend for anyone who might get into nasty weather.

      Nice & Light

      • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I like this tent. Just took it on 3 day section of the Ozark Trail with no major complaints:

      Pros:
      - Lightweight - packs in small sea to summit compression sack too.
      - Roomy (40lb Brittany slept in nook at the feet)
      - Easy to setup

      Cons:
      - Pole in fly isn't removable - can't stuff down as much as I'd like
      - Better venting w/ the fly on. It was 50s at night, but still humid and only the one vent up top.

Overall, this will be a great solo tent for backpacking or ride and camps.

      Nice & Light

has extra space/ doesn't require space

      • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I use this for motorcycle touring and have been very happy with it - packs light, the tent is long but narrow - easy to fit in the shadow of the bike which is helpful on those sunny mornings where there's nothing to hide behind, and it has a spacious enough vestibule to stash my boots, riding gear, helmet, and pack when its raining. For one person, its spacious.

      good solo tent

      • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I run this one for solo trips when Im bringing the mutt out with me or areas that my hammock just wont quite work. Its lightweight, fits well into my pack (lashed on the side, really). Ventilation is good, not great. The vestibule is large enough to stash your pack. Set up is fast and easy, even in the dark.
