Because one is all you need.

It you take a gander at Enve's product catalog, you notice a diversity of products and versions thereof - for example, a few different handlebars, mountain bike wheels, road bike wheels, etc. What you also may notice, however, js one product that stands alone: the Enve Stem. Indeed, the company makes a direct-mount mountain stem for special applications, but otherwise, the Enve Stem is it for handlebar holders. Why? Because this one is both tough and light enough to do anything, on road and off, and at only 120g (100mm length version), that's pretty amazing.

But it's not just about numbers. Carbon stems of comparable weight from rival manufacturers will either be far less rigid or far more costly. The Enve Stem, however, has been engineered to meet or exceed the strength and rigidity of any other carbon stem on the market. A cold-forged, four-bolt alloy faceplate, molded-in threads, and titanium hardware, sound out the details and promise a long, trouble-free life of service. And, did we mention that this thing makes virtually any bike look better?

The Enve Stem is available six lengths from 75mm to 130mm. The stem is available in the color Black, and features a 31.8mm clamp diameter. This stem is only compatible with 1-1/8in steerer tubes and comes with a 6 degree incline/decline.

  • Lengths from 75 to 130mm
  • Six-degree rise
  • Full carbon fiber stem with alloy faceplate and titanium hardware

Perfect Stem

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I have this stem on a road bike and love it. I have the 120 mm. Combined with an ENVE carbon bar, the road vibrations are very dampened and my hands stay comfortable longer. I initially rode it with an aluminum bar and liked it then, but now with a carbon bar, it's even more comfortable. It's expensive, but ENVE is the best there is and engineer their products to be safe and to last a long time, which is totally reassuring to me when I ride. I have met some of the people at the company and was totally impressed with them, and with their online safety demos of their products. I'm really happy with this purchase that is part of my dream bike.

made in china

    see title for explanation.

do you think for some reason things cant be shipped to the united states from China? its kind of the basis of our entire economy.

Go to their factory in Ogden Utah and see for yourself.

Besides, I called this order in. I directly asked, are these products made in china? The answer was an unsurprisingly..... NO. THEY ARE MANUFATURED IN THE U.S.A. Now, if they lied, then that's fraud. Which is a felony. You can go to their factory. Like I said, nice imagination. This ain't Trek for Gods

Hopefully I can add some useful input here. Enve does not really publicize that they have some products are not USA made. Some might say they do it intentionally (which were my thoughts and accusation to them), but they have told me in email form: Today, we manufacture 100% of our rims in the U.S. and nearly 80% of our business is wheels, which is why we have felt comfortable with our statement of “made in America”. So for those of you who wish to be able to identify which of their products are made in the US I would strongly recommend reaching out to them. That being said here's what they told me was made in the US: Rims, Mountain Stem, Direct Mount Stem, all of the Minnaar Bars, some DH bars and some seat posts in Ogden. They also mentioned that their new carbon road hub (excluding internals) would be made in Ogden.

I hope this helps clarify for those of you that do and care where an item is made. (For me I don't know if I'll be buying any more Enve products because of what I perceive as deception since they broadly use the term USA made yet don't clearly identify what's not USA made.)

    Awesome Stem, Great Finish

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bought this stem to pair with my Enve Handlebar, and both have proven to be great purchases. The finish on the stem is immaculate, and has a beautifully understated look to it. The clamping area of the stem affords a snug fit for the Enve bar, but not so tight that it mars the paint. It is as stiff a stem as I will ever need, and respectably light.

The stem looks like a negative rise but...

The stem looks like a negative rise but the description says positive. Please confirm.

You can run the ENVE Stem with a 6 degree positive or negative rise. The graphics will look the same either way.
