We like that ENVE makes one seatpost — it’s easy to know which one to buy. ENVE’s carbon wizards really went to town on this one. It’s light, incredibly stiff, but also comfortable and … forgiving in a way that most ultra-stiff posts aren’t. On top of (pun not intended) that carbon layup is ENVE’s super-trick one-bolt adjustment system. Just loosen a single bolt, and you can move the saddle fore and aft, as well as tilting it up and down. No more awkwardly alternating between two bolts to get your saddle position just so. Each post has a 25mm offset, which we’ve found to be perfect for getting our knees in just the right spot.

Very nice, well made, clamp is terrible

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I didn't do enough research to realize I was buying one of the last of a semi-defective design. The post is great, but I've had to far exceed the recommended torque spec to get the seat to not move in the clamp. I'm sure this is why they redesigned the clamp in the new ones. Hopefully ENVE will stand behind it if something goes wrong trying to make this one functional. Otherwise it's a stellar part.

Form meets function

Great product. Rigid yet light. The seat clamp is a real beauty and highly functional. I bit of a chore to get the saddle on but it has really clean lines once it is on. I ride with the saddle laid back a bit and at 12Nm my saddle kept slipping back. I had to ratchet the torque up to 15Nm to fully lock down my saddle. The 25mm offset is great. Just love this seatpost. I am definitely becomming an Enve loyalist for the quality of product they build. Wheels will be next...

Enve is the best.

Simply the best. This seatpost is lighter than a comparable Thomson (note that the Masterpiece doesn't come in a length nearly this long), and offers a better ride (more vibration dampening). It comes with ENVE's name and warranty. It looks hawt. It performs perfectly. There is nothing to compare to. To paraphrase Ferris, if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Whats the difference between this model and the twin bolt design?

Do you have the newer split style clamp version of the ENVE post yet? It is being shown on their website as available.
