M60 Forty 29in Boost Wheelset

Most of us, when we ride, ride a little bit of everything—fast XC, long climbs, hairy descents, and maybe some drops—which means the ENVE M60 Forty 29in Boost Wheelset is the perfect partner for our all-mountain missions. Sitting between ENVE’s AM and and XC rims, the M60 Forty is as tough as the former and nearly as light as the latter, thanks to a redesigned beadless bead hook that uses less material but becomes tougher at the same time. Amazingly, this also makes the ride even more razor-sharp than previous ENVE hoops, and lets your tires expand to their full width (up to 2.4in) for better cornering and grip.

In the middle of all this lightness sits the DT Swiss 240 Boost hub, which provides lightning-fast engagement, virtually zero friction, and allows easy service, so you’re never held up from (or on) your ride because your wheels are spinning slowly. Of course, like all Boost hubs, they’re mega-stiff, too—the better to complement your bordering-on-reckless all-mountain mania.
