Description

Eliminate the need to wear both a thermal layer and a waterproof layer when you ride.

The Endura Men's Stealth Cycling Jacket combines the coziness of a fleece with the moisture protection of a rain jacket, so you stay toasty during cold, damp bike rides. Endura used ultrasonic welding construction and external seam-sealing to make the Stealth’s waterproof breathable softshell fabric bombproof and ensure that the interior is smooth and seam-free. Side vents let you dump heat when this warm jacket gets too roasty for comfort—Endura divided the vents so that your backpack straps don't get in the way of cooling down. One last thoughtful touch: the Stealth's chest pocket has an audio port to grant you easy access to your tunes.

Endura stealth jacket not warm at all

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am a 55 year old male that cycles year round in Connecticut in all types of weather..I bought this jacket for cold weather riding for fall and Winter months after reading all the great reviews from the US and the UK. My first ride with this jacket was the begining of January, it was about 41 degrees out. I had some under armor layering and a light wool shirt on underneath. I took a 20 mile ride. I was very cold by the time I got back from the ride. I just don't so maybe it was my layering that made me cold but I was not impressed with my personal experience. I would not recommend this jacket for cold weather riding. I went back on the web site and bought a Louie Garneau jacket instead. I wore the Garneau twice already in colder weather than I did the stealth and felt the Garneau kept me much warmer. Thats just my .02 cents take it for whats it's worth.

What size would you recommend for a 5'8"...

What size would you recommend for a 5'8" guy with a 38" shoulder and a 31" waist, who is planning on using this jacket for commuting in all months (ie. suitable for layering in sub-32 degree weather)? How tight does the jacket fit at the recommended sizes? (Thanks)

My shoulder and waist dimensions were very clearly in the middle of the Large size as specified on the sizing chart, yet the jacket had a very snug fit. I moved up to the XL and it fits me perfectly, and would allow an additional thin layer underneath. Great jacket!
