Great shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I really like the fit of these shorts. They have the right amount of stretch and looseness for knee pads. The side adjusters are nice and easy to work with and the pockets are great. The zipper is short so a bit tough to slide on but once they are on they are very comfortable. Construction is very high quality and they look good. Only issue is that the zipper when up rubs my gut but if your skinny then it shouldn't be an issue. As far as size goes I would say that the XL is comparable to others XL/38 sizes, so for size I would go by that rather than the high numbers that are listed. Wish they had different colors so that I could order another pair.

I managed to find some really good reviews of cycling shorts at www.shortsforcycling.com

Sizing

I haven't ridden with them on yet but ordered the XL based on the prior review and found that I really only needed the L. My normal pant/waist size is something in the 35 to 36 range. Ordered a second pair in Large and they fit just fine.

Runs a little small

Ordered a Large after looking at the sizing chart. I wear a 36-38in pant (depending on the pants) and the Large was way to small so I returned it and ordered a XL so runs much smaller than the sizing chart says. Hopefully the XL fits.
